Munster High School secured a conference victory on Friday night, defeating Andrean 35–30 to open conference play at 1–0 and move to 2–2 overall. Munster and Andrean were tied 4–4 after the first quarter before the Mustangs inched ahead 11–10 at halftime. Munster maintained a 23–21 lead after three quarters and closed out the game with strong late possessions to take the 35–30 win. Arroya Mongerie led Munster with 15 points, shooting 4-of-7 from three-point range and 3-of-4 at the free-throw line. She added 5 rebounds. Emi Tioco contributed 9 points, and the Mustangs finished 8-of-11 at the line as a team. Igbo Odeluga added 6 rebounds. The JV also notched a victory winning 30-25 to raise their record to 2-2. Munster will travel to Hobart for its next matchup on Tuesday, November 25.
